The resort is composed of 2 hotels and 3 buildings. One outstanding feature of the building is the 18th-century facade of a palace, which was moved stone by stone from the nearby town of Oreña in 1971, and faithfully reconstructed here. Over the doorway are 2 carved escutcheons from King Felipe V's family. Flanked by pretty gardens, with a terrace, the hall is filled with charming antiques. The other building is a lovely building dating back to two centuries ago. It was used as an inn in the 1950s and reconstructed as a hotel 15 years ago, with all modern comforts, charming characteristics and exquisite decoration. The third building has more rooms, studios and apartments. The resort offers an excellent restaurant and bar service and private parking. With 28 rooms in total, hotel facilities include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a cafe, WLAN Internet access and a laundry service.

This historical hotel is located in the centre of Santillana del Mar, 5 km from the beach and 8 km from Torrelavega train station. Cabarceno Nature Park is approximately 30 km from the hotel, the Picos de Europa mountain range and nature park is around 70 km away, and the municipality of Comillas is roughly 16 km away.
